Leaders Information

There can be a lot involved in planning your trip. We want to be sure that you are fully prepared for what to expect from us, and what we require of all our guests.

Site Conventions

Wardens: At weekends, the site is over-seen by our voluntary Wardens. Please report in to them at Reception on arrival. The Wardens will assist you with checking out Activities equipment, making use of the site shop and any other assistance that you need.

Flag Break: On Saturdays and Sundays at 0930 Flag Break is run for Scouters, uniformed groups and all guests who would like to join us. Notices and information will be shared at Flag Break. This is a great opportunity to meet other campers and share any important information.

Camp Etiquette: For the benefit of everyone, please brief your group on the etiquette of campsites, including, keeping the site tidy and litter free, respecting the boundaries of other camping groups and being mindful of our 2230 quiet time.

Activities

If you are booking Activities, please be sure to read through the Activity Leader Info [link to Activity leader Info] before your trip, and share this information with any Leaders who will be involved in running the activities.

Rubbish & Recycling

Please ensure that all rubbish is disposed off in the skips and recyclable waste is separated wherever possible.

HM King Charles III has been confirmed as our new Patron, a great honour for UK Scouts.

The King continues a long tradition of the monarch giving their Patronage, dating back to 1912. This was when Scouts was granted its Royal Charter and HM George V became our first Patron.
