Cub Scouts (8-10.5)

Cub Scouts

Cub Scouts follow on from Beavers. The programme is more advanced to reflect the age range and increased ability.

Every pack has their own programme of events which is supplemented throughout the year by larger District and County events. This includes special activity days, challenges and competitions and District and County Camps.

A full list of these can be found here and in the Downloads section

Cub Scouts work towards their Chief Scout’s Silver Award, the highest award a Cub Scout can achieve. There are 7 Challenge badges for Cubs and these are awarded based on effort and achievement.

HM King Charles III has been confirmed as our new Patron, a great honour for UK Scouts.

The King continues a long tradition of the monarch giving their Patronage, dating back to 1912. This was when Scouts was granted its Royal Charter and HM George V became our first Patron.
