Welcome to Fylde Scouts

St Georges Day Celebrations 2017You’re Always Welcome

Fylde District Scouts provides fun, challenge, and adventure to more than 800 Scouts across the Fylde Coast. We help young people enjoy new adventures; to experience the outdoors; interact with others, gain confidence and have the opportunity to reach their full potential. Fylde District Scouts is made up of 10 Scout groups and 4 Explorer Scout Units across the Fylde Coast in Lancashire, including Lytham, St. Annes, Freckleton, Kirkham & Wesham, Warton and Clifton.

Our fantastic Activity Centre is available for use by not just Scout & Guide groups but other organisations and members of the public as well. This includes Indoor Accommodation, Camping, an Indoor Climbing Wall, Activity Barn, Archery and Shooting Ranges. Working alongside our youth members are hundreds of adult volunteers, with a huge variety of roles and opportunities available. Whether it be an hour a week or a day a year, we have flexible volunteering opportunities to suit you.
“Since I started volunteering as a Scout Leader in 2008 I’ve improved my team working and leadership skills and made dozens of new friends. I’ve been on camps all over the country, been given relevant training and support and become and instructor for Climbing, Air Rifle Shooting and Archery. When people ask why I do it? There’s only one answer – because I enjoy it!

Sam Stones, Assistant Explorer Scout Leader
