Register Details: If the Group is not registered with HMRC then you will  need to register the Group (Start Here); (on the Sign in using Government Gateway page select ‘Create sign in details’)

• During registration you will create sign in details (a Government Gateway ID)
  • You will be prompted to provide the following items
    • each official’s details incl. Address, Date of Birth,  and National Insurance Number
    • bank details
    • recent annual accounts
    • recent annual report
    • recent census return
  • On completion, HMRC will provide you with a HMRC Charity Reference (XXNNNNN)
• Once registered, make sure you activate your Charities Online account
