Fylde Districts Promise Renewal

Over the past weekend members of Fylde Scouts took on the challenge of marking St George’s day by taking part in different activities, camping out at home and finished off with a virtual Promise Renewal ceremony.

Our Lead Volunteer, Cath Lee, said “It’s been great to see our Beavers, Cubs, Scouts, Explorer Scouts, and Adults taking part in the activities and joining our Zoom Promise Renewal ceremony.  This past year has been difficult for our young people, leaders and parents, as it has been for all of us, and seeing them making small steps back to normality has been fantastic.”

At present some of the sections are still meeting virtually with others starting to meet face to face again, making sure we comply with the Scout Associations Covid processes.
