Active Support

Basics

Scout Active Support is for anyone over the age of 18 years. It is a way for adults to volunteer time to Scouting in a flexible way that suits them.
There is no requirement to have been involved in Scouting before joining. All that is required is a willingness to volunteer some time to support Scouting.

What do we do?

We provide support to Scouting in the Fylde District by helping at Beaver, Cub and Scout events as required and organising fundraising activities. We also have an active social calendar. Some examples of our activities are as follows: providing judges at swimming galas, catering/ serving refreshments and supervising activities at scouting events. Our fundraising and social activities include things as diverse as running a charity shop to enjoying speaker evenings and walks in the countryside.
